SCHOOL BUS SERVICES – SEPTEMBER 2020 TO JULY 2021
NEW IMPORTANT INFORMATION FROM TfGM:
TfGM have been working with the operators of our school services to introduce a new weekly ticket that can be loaded straight on to an IGO card, without the need for a paper ticket. Helping to reduce the environmental impact, whilst cutting down on lost tickets and students travelling without their IGO.
All operators are able to sell and accept this new ticket type, as well as a new carnet style ticket that can also be loaded on to a student’s IGO card. For more information about these new tickets please visit: https://tfgm.com/tickets-and-passes/bus-school-bus-services
From the beginning of next term, Operators will no longer be able to sell the paper version of the TfGM school weekly, with a view to removing the paper version.
If any students need to apply for an IGO or replacement, full details can be found here: https://tfgm.com/tickets-and-passes/igo-pass
Bus Timetable ‘September 2020’ can be downloaded here:
Also please remember in order to travel at the concessionary fare, students will also need to have an IGO card, otherwise a higher fare will apply. Further details about the IGO card can be found at http://igo.tfgm.com.
YELLOW SCHOOL BUS – MESSAGE FROM TfGM:
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, TfGM won’t be issuing Yellow School Bus passes for the start of the new academic year in September.
Instead, all Yellow School Buses will operate as regular dedicated school buses, meaning no passes will be needed and any child can board any service. This will allow more students to use the buses at a time when the overall capacity on the network is still likely to be reduced.
