Bedford High School Live
What a night! 🎸πŸ”₯

Huge pride for the incredible Bedford High School rock bands who absolutely smashed it at the Battle of the Bands at Leigh Library this weekend! The talent, energy and confidence on that stage was unreal β€” the future of live music is looking seriously bright. 🎢✨

A special shoutout as well to the guest judges, the famous Lottery Winners, who brought their support, encouragement and star power to the event. It meant so much for our young musicians to perform in front of artists who’ve made it big while staying true to their roots.

Huge thanks go to our fantastic music department, in particular Mr Morley and Mr Jenkins for all their hard work making sure our bands were ready to shine on stage. Thanks also go to our fantastic parents and carers for your support.

Moments like this show just how much talent, creativity and passion we have in our local community. So proud of every student who got up there and gave it their all β€” you were AMAZING! πŸ‘πŸŽ€

πŸ“’ YEAR 6 - TRANSITION DATES UPDATED πŸ“’
Due to the residential and trip dates of our feeder primary schools, we have changed the dates of our Transition Events, so that all students can partake in the activities! Please see the updates below. These will be updated in your transition packs that will be sent via post over the next few weeks!

We are really looking forward to seeing our Class of 2031 in the Summer!

πŸ—“οΈ Your first chance to visit us will be at our Transition Evening on Monday 22nd June from 5pm to 6pm in the School Hall, where you and your parents or carers can meet the team and find out more about life at Bedford.

🏫 We also have an exciting Transition Day on Friday 26th June from 8.25am to 3pm. This is your opportunity to spend the day at Bedford and experience what school life will be like. Please come wearing your primary school uniform and trainers.

βœ‰οΈ You will soon be receiving a transition pack in the post with more details about what to expect at Bedford, and there is a reply slip to send back into school.

😊 And finally, the big day… your first official day as Bedford students will be Wednesday 2nd September, when the school will be open for Year 7 only to help you settle in. We cannot wait to meet you all very soon!
